Conference Room Challenge

“Think Inside The Box?” That’s exactly what Venture Up’s industry first, conference-room escape game is all about. Lightly inspired by the escape room concept, but with over forty years of team training experience at every step in it’s development. This program focuses on organizing fractured information at all levels. With over 25lbs of materials in each case, this event challenges even the most cohesive teams.

The Concept

Escape The Case is a reverse escape game. It’s not about escaping a room, it’s about breaking into a series of locked metal cases, opening a volcano of challenges that pulls teams deeper and deeper into the experience. So… who is D.B. Cooper, one of you?

Escape Highlights

  • Group size

    Up to 500 participants.

  • Time

    1.5-2 hours.

  • Fun Final Reveal

Highlight a member of your team to be D.B. Cooper (don’t tell them!), you can also use this time for a special announcement.

  • We already did an Escape room!

This event is lightly based on the concept. In reality, it’s a table-based lightly themed team building challenge built for corporate groups.

In Brief

This Venture Up Original challenge blends intrigue and mystery with real professional development, reinforcing a simple truth: no matter your company, department, or location, you’re all one big team, always. The event contains:

  • Original clues, codes, puzzles and cyphers
  • Alarms and problem-solving twists
  • Fractured information and multi-task challenges
  • Non-traditional locks, alphabetical locks, and numerical locks
  • Layered challenges that build as teams advance
  • Collaboration between individuals and teams

How It Works

Teams of 6–10 each receive a large metal case and follow the clues in a race against the clock and other teams. Cracking code after code and opening box after box.

The Final Twist

The biggest surprise comes at the end, when all teams must work together to open the final Reveal Case. This collaboration underscores that all teams are actually one big team. More effective together, more innovative together, and ultimately better together – because no one of us, knows as much as all of us.

Why Teams Love It

Escape The Case encourages flexible leadership, prioritization, communication, execution, and creative thinking. Ultimately, this team building challenge is fun for everyone, lightly competitive, and built from the ground up with 40+ years of experience to be professional development training in disguise.
