Hunger Games take on a new meaning with Venture Up and its corporate partners, providing food and resources to community families in need. The Can Creations program blends altruism with artistry as teams create sculptures with their donation. Using thousands of cans of food, teams form multi-dimensional works of art and pixilated mosaic designs.
A panel of judges keep a tally of team points to determine category winners, such as the Most Creative, Corporate Essence, or Best Overall for creativity and stability. But the real winners in this CSR event are the food banks, shelters, and children’s homes in the U.S. and Latin America, who receive a lasting gift of non-perishable goods to last them for months.
Time permitting, teams partake in Strategic Games before the can event, to build energy and high spirit with all the teams before they split.
