Privacy Policy

Venture Up Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use ventureup.com and how that information is used.

Information You Provide

When you contact Venture Up, request information, ask for a quote, call, email, or sign up for the newsletter, we may collect the information you choose to provide. This can include your name, company, email address, phone number, event city, event details, message contents, and newsletter signup details.

If comments are enabled on a blog post and you submit a comment, WordPress may collect the comment information you provide along with standard anti-spam and moderation data.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the site may collect basic technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used for security, analytics, troubleshooting, and improving the site.

The homepage may use an approximate IP-location lookup to show a few nearby Venture Up city links. This does not use browser GPS and does not ask for precise location permission. The browser stores only approximate latitude, longitude, and a timestamp in sessionStorage so the lookup does not need to repeat during the same browsing session.

Some location pages may use sessionStorage to remember a local phone number or local home link during your current browser session.

Cookies, Browser Storage, and Similar Tools

The site and third-party services used by the site may use cookies, scripts, pixels, local storage, or session storage. These tools help operate the site, remember temporary display preferences, measure site usage, and route visitors to relevant Venture Up pages.

Third-Party Services

Venture Up uses service providers to operate and improve the website. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.

How Information Is Used

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare event ideas or quotes, communicate with clients and prospective clients, send newsletters when requested, operate and secure the site, understand website performance, and show relevant location links.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the website, manage email communications, provide analytics, support event planning, or respond to your requests. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. You can contact us to ask about personal information you have provided, request an update, or ask that we delete information when we are able to do so. Your browser settings may also let you block cookies, clear storage, or limit tracking tools.

The site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is not a uniform industry standard for those signals. Third-party services may collect information about your activity over time and across websites according to their own policies and settings.

Data Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law, accounting, dispute-resolution, or business needs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

The website is intended for business and event-planning audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
