Conference Room Bridge Team Building

Venture Up’s Bridge Builders is a fresh take on the classic engineering challenge designed specifically for meetings and time frames of 1.5-2.5 hours. Teams are tasked to build up to 3 specific bridge styles with limited supplies and given unexpected requirements that push teams to think fast, make decisions, and produce a finished product within the allotted time.

This event is highly flexible and geared for any group size small or large, and any group background, no prior bridge building experience required!

  • A hands-on team experience

    Teams move from rough sketches to real-world solutions bridging team creativity, communication, and collaboration.

  • Flexible group and team size

    This event can be facilitated for large and small groups and teams. Challenges are given based on these factors making sure everyone has a role to play.

  • Exciting final test

    The final test is a nail biting event where teams see if their bridge can withstand more weight than the previous.

  • Meeting friendly

    This event works great in existing meeting areas. All we need are tables and your team of expert engineers to start building.

To find success as a team, each bridge has to meet strict requirements and hold a target load without catastrophic failure. But, depending on event format, to become the ultimate bridge champions a team must have the highest average load held across all bridges to win.

Bridge Building Basics

Teams are given all tools and materials required to build their specified bridge. Depending on your meeting time, venue, and group size, Venture Up will outline the best Bridge Builders event that suits your team. As this program has a wide range of facilitation methods, tell us about your meeting and we’ll recommend a format that works.

From Mini-nail guns (with protective padding), glue sticks, twine to of course safety equipment like gloves, eyewear, and a hard hat for the team captain, your group will look the part and have all the tools needed to create one or more suspension bridge, truss bridge, cable stayed bridge, and a special challenge mystery bridge.
